MACHINE OBJECTIVE

Caviar has been enjoyed since long times as a highly exceptional and special delicacy all over the world. Caviar is a fragile food product, which can easily go bad in the wrong storage and packaging environment. When caviar is being processed, salt is added for longer preservation. During storage and transport, caviar is kept in a cold environment (a few degrees below zero). Another requirement for the quality preservation is the packaging. Caviar is sold fresh in specific jars or tins, which are mostly under vacuum.

HENKELMAN VACUUM SYSTEMS has developed a machine especially for caviar packaging. As manufacturer of vacuum packaging machines, HENKELMAN has applied their expertise and technology to present a caviar-packaging machine with which the caviar tins can be closed under optimal vacuum conditions. This machine is the optimal packaging opportunity for packing caviar in tins as well as other delicate food products, which are supposed to be packed in tins, or jars.

MACHINE OPERATION

The caviar-packaging machine consists of a high performance vacuum pump, control panel, and vacuum chamber with a floating bottom. Tins with same size and height are placed onto the floating bottom and the lid will be closed. The lids of the tins should be placed lightly on top of the tin. Insert the right program for the process. The machine is running until the chamber has achieved complete vacuum. When the chamber has complete vacuum, the floating bottom will rise and close the tins tightly against the machine lid. The floating bottom will go down again and the machine lid will open. The tins are ready now for take out.

MACHINE REQUIREMENTS

 Each machine cycle can only contain one size of tin. The height of the chamber can be adjusted with standard insert plates depending on the height of the tins.

This machine is suitable for packing caviar tins of 30, 50, 100, 125, 250, 500 grams.
